Manafiafy Beach and Rainforest Lodge

With sparkling blue seas, verdant rainforests, and abundant wildlife, this intimate lodge offers you your choice of serenity or adventure.

Manafiafy Beach and Rainforest Lodge sits nestled into a forest-fringed cove on a tranquil stretch of white sand beaches rarely seen by anyone other than the local fishermen that have lived here for generations.  Each of our five luxury thatched bungalows offer a private terrace just inches from the sea where you can go for an early morning swim or watch the dugout canoes come and go in search of fish and lobsters.

Here you will find mangrove forests that twist and stretch inland from the cove only to give way to breathtaking rainforests that are home to a number of diurnal and nocturnal lemur species as well as a vast array of incredible chameleons and birds. Come and relax by the sea or search the forests and mangroves for endemic species of wildlife and flora. At Manafiafy, you can have it all.

Each of our rooms leads directly to a pristine white sandy beach with azure waters of the Indian Ocean.

Our four luxury bungalows and one family villa are discreetly tucked along the edge of the forest, all with private wooden terraces and stunning views across the bay. These rooms meld local wood, ravinala thatch and stone with modern comforts to create the perfect feel-good atmosphere. Each accommodation offers a private terrace with hammock, a super king-sized and a single bed, 270° windows, a full en-suite with hot fresh water, a walk-in shower, 24h solar electric, 220V sockets, indoor and outdoor seating areas, mosquito nets, ocean view, sun loungers and a room safe.
